At Stonehenge Veterinary Hospital, our number one goal is the health and safety of our clients, patients, and staff. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there are several protocols we have established to ensure the well being of all. While some of these measures may cause somewhat of an inconvenience, we have developed them using recommendations from the CDC, WHO, and the AVMA. Thus, your understanding and patience is greatly appreciated.
When you arrive at the hospital, please call from the parking lot, or knock on the front door to inform the staff. The front door will be locked, so please allow time for someone to assist you.
At this time, we ask that you remain outside and allow the staff to retrieve your pet. Special cases will certainly arise, but we would like to limit the number of persons in the hospital. Due to this fact, the staff and doctors on duty will also be limited. We will work diligently to ensure little to no wait times both at the hospital and when scheduling appointments, but patience regarding this matter is truly appreciated.
Please call all prescriptions in ahead of time (this includes monthly preventatives). A staff member will bring the prescription out to you when you arrive. We would also ask that you pay via phone when at all possible. For fecal and urine specimen drop offs, please call from the parking lot, pay by phone and then allow a staff member to come outside to retrieve the specimen.
If you are sick or were possibly exposed to the virus, please stay home. We have always prided ourselves on being a hygienic and clean facility, and want to assure you that we are going above and beyond to disinfect the premises.
We absolutely hold our clients in high esteem and want nothing more than to provide you with the utmost of care. Please do not hesitate to call with any questions or concerns. We wish you all health and happiness.
